Today I'm going to share my first impressions of the L'oreal Paris Infaillible Total Cover Concealer Palette, with some swatches and comparison swatches included, as a (hopefully) helpful guide to shades. I was sent this product by Social Soup to try out and review, but all opinions are honest and my own ;) I'm intending to do regular swatch posts here on my blog, as I find this really helpful myself, when choosing foundation and concealer shades. For reference, I have a medium complexion with neutral olive leaning to warm olive undertones, my best foundation matches (so far!) are NC25(winter) - NC30(summer) in MAC, W3 in L'oreal Lumi Magique, W4(summer) in L'oreal True Match, 54 Beige in Bourjois Healthy Mix and 220 Natural Beige in Maybelline Fit Me. I'm back, with another first impressions review for a product from The Ordinary - in the hotseat today is the Salicylic Acid 2% solution. The Salicylic Acid 2% solution is a BHA (beta-hydroxy acid); an exfoliator that works more deeply into the skin than the AHAs, exfoliating the inside of the pores to fight blemishes and improve overall skin clarity. It can be used specifically as a spot treatment for blemishes, or applied in a more generalised fashion to improve skin clarity over time. To be honest, when I've used products containing Salicylic acid in the past, it was specifically for blemishes and I found it to be largely ineffective for my skin.
